Discovery phase
After 2 rounds of interviews with onshore and offshore team i had joined the massive product team called NYL GBS . Where each modules in the product have different sets of team and managers working on Agile format. Very first requirement from Product Lead is to modify some Pages in Demo Prototype which was totally built on Axure , even though i have fair knowledge in Axure. problem was with the software credentials to obtain it we might need multi level approvals from other organisation .Understood the problem and provided them solution of migrating whole 450+ pages Demo to FIGMA .
Approach
In response, I proposed transitioning to Figma and highlighted its advantages for collaborative design. After convincing the team, I efficiently converted over 450 screens into Figma in just 3 weeks, complete with an interactive prototype Demo. Additionally, I established a design system based on styles (not variables), streamlining the design process and improving collaboration within the team.
As the only designer, I was also involved in creating the following designs.
* Employee section and its following pages designing and Enhancing using the user test data shared by the client team
* Enhancing Employer section pages by collaborating with the module lead, gathering inputs, and presenting solutions through FIGMA prototypes.
* Sharing design files with multiple Developers/Engineers and maintaining regular communication to ensure the designs are being implemented accurately.
* Facilitating communication between Developers and Testers to clarify design rationale in case of any issues.
* Consistently engage with product leads and actively participate in Scrum calls, as the entire workflow follows the Agile methodology, encompassing stages such as Planning, Sprints, Feedback, Adaptation, and Collaboration.

Conclusion & Reflections
Increased clients user base by 300% by designing 400+ screens in FIGMA enhancing user experience and product design.
Reduced design time by 20% by developing a ‘Design System’ based on styles, streamlining the design process and improving collaboration within the team.
Collaborated with different module leads to enhance/implement new features in the live web app.
As an ongoing project, continuous enhancement and development are integral to this product. I take pride in initiating the design process and system, and I'm pleased that I have received positive recognition from all the Leads and the Product Head involved.
